Years after the collapse of civilization in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the desert, apocalypse survivors are enslaved by the tyrannical Immortan Joe inside the desert fortress the Citadel. 

After the loss of his wife and child, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) teams up with a woman, Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) to survive the anarchy of their existence.

Almost like Fast & Furious in a complete different and surreal background, the duo fortify themselves in the massive, armored truck called the War Rig and attempt to outrun the ruthless warlord's henchmen in a high-speed, deadly chase through the Wasteland.
